As a team member of the Global Cloud Platform and hosting team, included under the Information Technology Services and Support Organization, you will leverage your knowledge and skills to provide support for Dow’s cloud platform services and operations. This will include (But not limited to) providing on call support of issues escalated beyond our support partners expertise as well as support for assigned projects and programs. You will also be responsible for the design of integrated workable solutions and processes that meet stakeholder requirements and address capability gaps. For operations you will be accountable to deliver high levels of client satisfaction by meeting or exceeding established service levels.  Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of this role include general support, maintenance and upkeep of Dow’s cloud platform assets. Responsibilities include playing either a support role for major new initiatives or taking a lead role for low-complexity projects. Specific job requirements include. Participate in the cloud platform on-call rotational support system and ensure timely addressal of Incidents, Problems and Changes related to cloud platform activities. Manage cloud platform infrastructure inventory and develop / maintain documentation for quick and easy references by the cloud platform team.  Assist senior members of the team in optimizing cloud resources and look for opportunities for periodic reviews.  Review cloud vendors’ alerts and communicate with the right teams to address topics relating to enhancements, retirements etc.  Collaborate with Developers, Network, Security and other teams to take care of routine cloud network and security tasks. Assist Cloud Platform leadership in researching, testing new cloud features as requested from time to time.  ​ Qualifications Bachelor degree in IT discipline preferred or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience  . Your Skill s Cloud Platforms:  Proficiency with cloud concepts, with focus on Microsoft Azure. Networking and Security: Strong understanding of basic network and security concepts, with special emphasis on Azure features.  Virtualization: Experience with Hyper-V and other virtualization environments. Operating systems: Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS. General: Strong communications, analytical and troubleshooting skills.  Additional notes No relocation support is provided on the role.
