We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.   As a Manager I, Accounting & Reporting supporting our Finance & Accounting team, you will be trusted to lead daily accounting operations and reporting excellence in our shared services center. Based in Mexico City (hybrid model), you will be responsible for financial accuracy, compliance, and leading a high-performing team aligned with Alcon's business strategy.   In this role, a typical day will include:   Supervising accounting staff in posting and verifying financial transactions   Conducting reconciliations and ensuring accuracy in financial records   Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and month-end closing   Monitoring compliance with accounting standards and policies   Leading continuous improvement initiatives and developing team capabilities   WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.   10+ years of experience in accounting roles, with exposure to shared services and multinational environments.   Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI and is a plus.   Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and structured communicator.   Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.   Experience in consumer goods, pharma, manufacturing, or service industries is preferred   Deep knowledge of standard costing.   Ability to act as a strategic business partner and build a sense of ownership and connection to the business.   HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:   Opportunity for horizontal and vertical career growth in a global, innovation-driven environment.   Engage in challenging work that drives strategic transformation beyond traditional accounting.   Be part of an inclusive team committed to continuous learning and development.   ATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent Worker If you are currently an active employee/contingent worker at Alcon, please click the appropriate link below to apply on the Internal Career site.
