About the Role We are looking for an experienced Trace Financial Developer to join our fintech development team. This role involves designing and implementing data transformation solutions using Trace Financial’s Transformer platform, specifically developing mapping jars to handle complex financial data formats across various clearing systems and protocols. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Trace Financial mapping jars for transforming financial messages (e.g., SWIFT, ISO 20022, FIX, proprietary formats). Collaborate with business analysts and integration teams to understand transformation requirements and implement accurate mappings. Ensure seamless data flow between internal systems and external clearing houses, custodians, and financial institutions. Optimize and troubleshoot existing mappings to improve performance and accuracy. Participate in solution design, documentation, and testing phases of integration projects. Stay current with financial messaging standards and regulatory changes impacting data formats. Qualifications Minimum 1 years of experience working with Trace Financial Transformer or similar financial data transformation tools. Strong understanding of financial messaging standards (SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, FIX, FpML, etc.). Familiarity with Java and working with JAR files for custom transformations. Familiarity with XML, XSLT, XPath , and other data manipulation technologies. Knowledge of clearing and settlement processes in capital markets or payments. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Preferred Skills Some understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements. Exposure to cloud-based deployment environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
