Summary   We are looking for an Electronics Technical Procurement Specialist who has a background in electronics and is interested in managing and dealing with suppliers. Responsibilities will include sourcing and managing suppliers of electronics products, as well as planning orders and following them through to receipt at the factory. You will work with a technical team specializing in the design and manufacture of RFID devices and will play an active role in negotiating purchasing rates and sourcing new suppliers. Your Responsibilities Read datasheets and identify technical values Detect improvements in datasheets and propose alternatives Identify parts that don’t meet quality parameters Manage supplier relationships to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods and services Identify and resolve delivery discrepancies by proactively communicating with suppliers and implementing corrective actions Planning and follow-up of orders Working on a project basis from start to finish Search and validation of new suppliers Your Experience, Education, and Skills Electronics background (or possibly Technical Engineering / Industrial Design) Good knowledge of electronic components Professional experience in similar position (Buyer, Procurement Specialist, Strategic Purchaser) Advanced English (fluent speech) Communicative Spanish / Catalan Autonomy and responsibility Good communication and negotiation skills Project work Our Profile Flexible working hours 1-2 days per week working from home possibility 23 days off + 2 days extra (we all will have 2 days off on 24th and 31st of December based on the collective agreement) Specialty coffee, tea and table tennis Support for online training programs Opportunity to grow in a fast-paced international company Young and dynamic work environment New 4000sqm corporate building next to Westfield La Maquinista #LI-JM1 #LI-Hybrid Novanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
