Qualifications: Creative & innovative mindset Project management proficiency Continuous improvement of our project management process its effectiveness Time management of yourself and others Project expense management & tracking Technology & innovation idea development and management Technical support & training Excellent problem solving capabilities Travel as required Proactively & effectively manages projects (you will not be leading all these projects but, will be serving as the project manager) related to: New product developments and improvements New process developments and improvements Equipment developments, designs and improvements Internal & external technology commercialization Productivity and optimization projects for products, processes and our proprietary systems Internal technology leveraging Technology & Engineering Innovations This Position is responsible for leading or providing project management leadership for various projects related to successfully executing our technology & engineering strategies including new product developments, process developments, equipment developments, material developments, optimization projects, etc. for all our industrial converting divisions. The person in this position will provide project management leadership to help the Global Technology & Engineering organization execute projects in a timely and effective fashion.  This person will also lead projects as appropriate.  Projects will be varied as described above and will be in support of all our converting divisions What you will do: Provides project management leadership for Global Converting Technology & Engineering Project management and/or project oversight for such initiatives as product developments/improvements, process developments/improvements, equipment developments/improvements, materials developments/improvements and various projects related to technical innovations and technical leadership Projects will also focus on the successful and timely commercialization of technologies Provide Technical Training for operations, quality, commercial and other technical personnel Demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization Must work well with all teams and functions to accomplish our objectives Qualifications: Project Management Leadership for self and others Travel as required How to improve our project management process & effectiveness Time management Competitive strategy Expense management Technology & Innovation ideas Technical Support & training. Technology/Engineering innovation ideas creation General problem solving Requirements: 4 year engineering degree required (Mechanical Engineering is preferred) Experience in paper related industries is a plus Project Management experience Experience using MS Project/Planner PMP Certification is a plus Knowledge of programs such as Solidworks, Inventor, etc. is a plus.
