The Manufacturing Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining precision machining equipment to produce high-quality components according to engineering specifications. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Job Description (Primary Responsibilities) Set up and operate CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations or defects. Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes for efficiency and quality. Additional Job Description Ability to work with various materials including metals and composites. May rotate between different machines and workstations. Use advanced measuring equipment and maintain calibration standards. Experience Minimum 1–3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in CNC programming and machine operation; strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; strong math and problem-solving skills. Compensation and Benefits The base pay for this position is $55,900.00 to $88,900.00 per year depending on the geographic market. Dependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.
