Job Title Chargeman 11kV Job Description Summary We seek an experienced Chargeman to manage the operation, maintenance, and compliance of an 11kV electrical system in a commercial/industrial building. The role ensures power reliability, regulatory compliance, and safety, including routine maintenance and fault troubleshooting. Job Description About the role: Operations & Maintenance: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 11KV electrical systems, including switchgear and transformers. Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance of HT/LV switchboards, bus ducts, and standby generators. Respond to electrical faults and emergencies to ensure minimal downtime and safety. Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with the Electrical Act & Regulations (Suruhanjaya Tenaga). Maintain accurate records and coordinate with regulatory bodies (DOSH, ST, Bomba). Implement safety procedures and conduct training for technicians and contractors. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with TNB, contractors, and stakeholders for system operations, repairs, and upgrades. Provide regular updates to the Facility Manager on performance and improvement plans. Energy & Project Management: Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving measures. Support electrical and mechanical projects, including system upgrades and sustainability initiatives. About you: Chargeman HT certification (B0 – PJ6) for a minimum of 11KV installations. At least 5 years of experience in maintaining electrical equipment, including switchgear, PLCs, electronic sensors, inverters, and transformers. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
