AI Engineer The Opportunity: As a programmer, you know that machine learning is critical to understanding and processing massive datasets. Your ability to c ond uct statistical analyses on business processes using ML techniques makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. We need your technical knowledge and desire to problem-solve to support transforming the federal government with AI. As an AI Engineer on our national security team, you’ll build agentic systems, fine-tune models, build RL environments, and make AI a reality for our clients. In this role, you’ll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit AI models and technologies. You’ll grow within a large community of AI engineers across the company and collaborate with product teams, data engineers, and government stakeholders to deliver world-class solutions to build agentic systems. You Have: Experience designing, building, and deploying AI chatbots end-to-end, from requirements gathering to production launch Experience building Tableau dashboards and using system reports to make data easy to understand for end-users Experience using Python to build AI frameworks, JavaScript for AI integration, and cloud services for AI deployment Experience with NLP, machine learning, APIs, and database management to ensure AI chatbots are useful and reliable Experience integrating chatbots with enterprise systems Ability to write queries in multiple languages to extract and integrate data from databases Ability to evaluate chatbot performance using metrics and implement improvements TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree in a Technology field, such as Computer Science or Statistics Nice If You Have: Experience advising customers on the best way to track metrics and measure success Experience translating business questions into data solutions Experience training clients to use and maintain Tableau or similar dashboards Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and creative solution development skills Possession of strong oral and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
