Job Title Welding Supervisor Job Description Summary Job Description Welding Supervisor Who Are We?     C&W Services is the industry leader in cutting-edge maintenance and janitorial programs for facilities ranging corporate office portfolios and manufacturing plants to large public venues—keeping our client’s facility running smoothly all the time.      What’s The Job?   Title: Welding Supervisor  Location: Eddyville, Iowa Salary: up to $96,054.00 ( DOE) Hours: Average 42-46 hrs Monday through Thursday 6 am to 4:30 pm (Rotating half day fridays approximately every 4-5 weeks)    A team member will lead and supervise a team welding technicians performing industrial welding in manufacturing facilities. Must be familiar with welding/fitting. Will always hold team to company and customer performance expectations. Will require some computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook.   What’s in it for me?     Weekly pay on Fridays  Comprehensive benefits that start on your first day   Advancement opportunities   Training to work in a cutting-edge facility   Company provided safety apparel and uniforms     What Will I Be Doing?    Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:   Hold daily start up meeting with team Hold daily toolbox talks with team Delegate daily work assignments  Meet with customer contacts as required daily, weekly  Provide direction on work execution  Ensure accountability of team members in quality, safety, and engagement   Assist as needed in field   Conduct quality audits of jobs in field  Ensure all documentation is completed timely and correctly  Establish performance goals for team members  Recognize team accomplishments  Strong communication skills both written and verbal  Policy understanding and enforcement  Have deep knowledge of craft skills  OSHA certification, 10-hour required, 30-hour preferred     Conduct employee performance reviews Maintain documentation for any employee issues that arise.  Escalate issues to account manager as required  Review and approve time-off requests. Appropriately schedule employee time off to ensure proper manpower levels. Inform employees of any denials of time off and explain reasoning to them.  Maintain direct on-going communication with other company supervisors to ensure smooth workflow processes.  Accept feedback from others, set goals to improve performance based upon this feedback.  Inspires and motivates others to perform well.  Exhibit objectivity and openness to others’ views.  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by company and customer.  What Makes Me Qualified?    Don’t meet all the requirements but are still interested in working for us? Please apply and we will review your resume for other roles!   Experience: Must possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in supervisory skills 5+ years of TIG welding experience Additional Skills: Good facilitator skills and strong computer skills. Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
