FinOps Analyst The Opportunity: The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That’s why we need you, a finan cia l analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies , and regulations that govern funding, to make sure the Department of Defense's resources can make the most impact.  As a finan cia l analyst on our team, you’ll create a finan cia l management strategy to help the Department of Defense succeed. You’ll work with project management, schedulers, task leads, and vendors to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.  Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies , you’ll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project management, schedulers, and task leads. The world can’t wait.  You Have:  3+ years of experience with FinOps support for AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle environments Experience in recommending and assisting in implementing cloud finan cia l operations management strategies to optimize cost savings Experience analyzing cloud cost data Experience in providing and implementing FinOps benchmarks and key performance indicators Experience advising clients on FinOps Ability to provide Cloud FinOps training and guidance Ability to assist in developing cloud cost forecasts and budget s, providing insights that inform strategic planning and resource allocation Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and successful implementation of cost-saving initiatives Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have:  Experience with Kion Experience working with DoD clients Experience with multi-cloud solutions Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.    Compensation At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
