We’re looking for a data architecture lead like you to solve complex challenges and deliver leading-edge solutions for aviation safety.     As a data architect on our aviation team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for an aviation intelligence platform . You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on data architecture developments.    In this role, you’ll share your technical expertise, introduce best practices, and use tools like Databricks, PySpark, AWS , and aviation datasets . You’ll lead your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.     With your motivation to establish processes and facilitate technological innovation, you’ll make a lasting impact on aviation safety .    Join us. The world can’t wait.    You Have:    8+ years of experience with Databricks, PySpark, and AWS  Experience with aviation, geospatial, and weather datasets  Experience leading a team of 5 or more data engineers  Knowledge of the federal aviation safety infrastructure  Ability to lead complex data engineering efforts  Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements  Bachelor’s degree  Nice If You Have:    Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning  Experience with executive-level summaries and briefings  Knowledge of FAA operations    Ability to work cross-functionally with various product workstreams  Master's degree  Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.       Compensation At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
