Tactical Networks Systems Engineer The Opportunity:  A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable our Department of Navy (DoN) and Department of Defense (DoD) clients to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? You'll collaborate with every stakeholder in a system life cycle, from mission operator to mission commander and every supporting element to execute and enable the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You'll then share your expertise during the planning of acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you'll put your hardware and software talents to good use. The world can’t wait.    You Have:  4+ years of experience with engineering and systems architectures for DoD systems, including design, development, and integration throughout the systems engineering process and systems development lifecycle Experience with capability analysis, requirements definition and management, system test and integration, writing technical documentation, and creating design artifacts Experience engineering solutions for Navy Tactical Networks Secret clearance Bachelor's degree CCNA, ASEP, Network+, Security+, or Micro sof t Certification   Nice If You Have:   Experience with Network Automation in Python, Ansible, NETCONF, or RESTCONF Experience modeling network configuration in JSON, YAML, or YANG Experience developing and maturing complex, collaborative networking projects and working autonomously to move network development forward Experience leveraging DevSecOps to scale enterprise-level engineering projects.  TS/SCI clearance   Clearance:    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.   Compensation At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
