As an engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to modeling foreign threat radars, antennas, and communication systems. We’re looking for a problem solver who can use their skills to help perform detailed analyses, including the evaluation of the detectability of airborne systems and survivability analyses of weapon systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios. This is an opportunity to hone your technical abilities on significant and current engineering problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication. Our modeling and simulation team performs a variety of analyses of future weapon and platform concepts for DoD clients. We develop the detailed models and simulations as required by those analyses. That’s why we need you, an engineer, physicist, or mathemati cia n, with an interest in RF systems, radar signal processing, antenna modeling, and operational approach assessments. While working with a broad and experienced team, you’ll perform modeling tasks, radar signal processing code development, and the refinement of ground system models in Fortran, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink. You’ll directly impact the Department of Defense’s mission by helping determine what tactics, techniques, and procedures improve survivability and decrease vulnerability against foreign threat systems as well as helping make an informed decision for the acquisition of future systems. You Have: Experience with coding in MATLAB, C, C++, FORTRAN, or Python Experience with modeling and simulation programs such as the Threat Modeling and Analysis Program ( TMAP ) radar modeling, Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environments ( ITASE ) , the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database ( EWIRDB ) , or Air Force Simulation ( AFSIM ) Experience with engineering and mathematics Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with Linux Experience with modeling and simulation tools Knowledge of radar principles for antenna, signal processing, and tracking filters Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Master's degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
