Who you are: Commissioning, service, trouble shooting and optimizing in connection with service jobs on boilers, burners, automatics and other associated systems, including function and safety function test, as well as co-ordination and delivery to customers, operators, classification societies and other authorities. Evaluation of conditions of boiler plants and associated systems, i.e. cause of damage, and consultations in connection with repair and preventive maintenance. About the job: Provide technical support for commissioning engineers and customers; Assist in managing planning coordination of all new commissioning, service and warrantee assignments; Assist in management of coordination of service resources as well as administrative management of the all travelling service engineers; Assist in maintaining and monitoring related records and reports and order fulfilment functions to ensure timely customer services; Commissioning of new boiler plants world-wide Service and troubleshooting tasks on burners and control systems Service on all major brands of burners and automation Service of non-Aalborg products related to the marine industry in the same product group as part of the after-sales business Inspection tasks on boilers/burners and control systems Training of ship’s crew in connection with commissioning and onboard voyage Preparation of reports within employee's duties as required by the Company What you know Marine Engineering background with good hands-on electrical and mechanical technical skills. (Degree in Electrical Marine Engineering and/or with a sailing experience as Electrical Officer also acceptable.) It is preferred if you have worked for minimum 3 years as a Marine Engineer; Knowledge about boilers and burners, especially have wide insight on mechanism,  control systems and components; Experience in coordination and planning of a mobile work force.
