An Environmental Operator will perform all operations necessary to support Environmental Controls, Incineration Services, and/or Solvent Recovery in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner. RESPONSIBILITIES Operate and maintain large, complex equipment (e.g. wastewater treatment plant, fume incinerators, commercial liquids and solids incinerators, distillation columns, bulk tanks, forklifts, yard tractors) while adhering to written instructions and/or training. Summarize observations and activities both verbally and in writing. Demonstrate basic math skills Perform troubleshooting and demonstrate critical thinking skills Maintain the work area in a state of cleanliness and safety Adhere to environmental, health, safety, and security programs, rules, and procedures. Work well both independently and in a team environment. Actively participate in safety and continuous improvement teams  REQUIREMENTS Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
