Auf einer Fläche von 32 Hektar ist das Werk Arbeitsplatz von rund 1.900 Mitarbeitern. Der Chemiestandort Goldschmidtstraße hat eine lange Tradition: Seit 1889 ist das Werk eine industrielle Größe der Stadt.  Am Standort werden Spezialchemikalien produziert, z.B. für die Herstellung von Haut- und Haarpflegeprodukten, Wasch- und Reinigungsmitteln, Autopflegemitteln, Farben und Lacken, sowie Polyurethanschaumstoffen, die in Isolierungen, Möbel, Matratzen und im Automobilbereich zu finden sind.  Der Ruhrgebiets-Standort verfügt nicht nur über modernste Produktionsanlagen, auch Forschung, Entwicklung und Anwendungstechnik sowie Marketing, Vertrieb und Verwaltung sind hier ansässig. Am Standort Essen Goldschmidtstraße ermöglichen wir im Rahmen einer naturwissenschaftlichen, technischen oder kaufmännischen Ausbildung einen Einblick in diese Welt der Spezialchemie zu bekommen.
