Welcome to Albany Medical Center, providing excellent care to our community each day.  We have an exciting opportunity for health care employees or entry level candidates looking to join our Front Office team as a Patient Service Associate.   An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team.   This is a per diem position with 36-hour monthly and one 12-hour shift on a weekend requirement.  This is an onsite position at multiple EmUrgentCare locations, with some nearby travel required. Primary Job Responsibilities: Assist all patients that report to the front desk Greet patients in a prompt, courteous and professional manner Interact with a diverse patient population Utilize the electronic medical record to maintain patient records via scanning or registration collect copayments, and other necessary information at time of check-in Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately to team members Education High school diploma or equivalent required.  Experience: No experience required. Excellent customer service skills preferred Experience using an electronic health record and Microsoft Office a plus!
