Job Description Summary The Lead SRE will assist with ongoing maintenance and support of a hosted application platform, assist with and/or lead projects related to the support of the application environment, and interface with internal and external customers to troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues. The Lead SRE is also responsible to assist in new project build outs, support of development and QA departments as they interface with hosted application models, and other application administration tasks. Work experience/Roles and responsibilities Follow strict change control policies to adhere to organizational and client requirements. Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot problem reports for internal and external end-users Manage critical incidents and problems with appropriate urgency Participate in off-hour maintenance windows as needed to support a highly available application Communicate effectively with Design Engineering, Client Support, Management, and Software Development groups Document policies and procedures as they are defined and changed Application setup and administration. Being accountable for resolving the outage via workaround or permanent fix Ensuring all administration and reports are maintained and up to date, including contacts information, technical diagrams, post major incident reviews. Work closely with Problem Management to identify recurring or high-impacting incidents that requires further analysis and long-term solutions. Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability Provide 24x7 on-call support within a team rotation. Required Skills Min 8-10 yrs experience on Application and SRE support. Minimum 4 + years of working knowledge on AWS Services – Lamda, ECS, ALB, RDS, CloudWatch Insights, etc Support and administration on Kubernetes. Observability with creating Datadog alert/monitoring/Dashboards. Linux/windows sysadmin Prior experience in Application support and incident recovery must. Have detailed knowledge of Linux systems (e.g. RHEL) with regular use of Unix command line Familiarity with Relational Databases, proficient in SQL and query tools Shell/Perl scripting Git Jenkins, ITIL certification a plus  Good to have Skills Ansible/Puppet. Programming (Java, Python, shell)  Educational qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field  Soft Skills/Abilities:       Analytical Problem-Solving Attention to detail and accuracy Good communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Ability to drive projects and help with technical trainings to the teams. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects/clients, time and resources Effective interpersonal skills; the ability to handle objections and counter feedback professionally as necessary Ability to stay abreast of and learn new networking, systems and security technologies Ability to work independently and with others Proud to share LSEG in the India is Great Place to Work certified (Jun ’25 – Jun ’26).
