We’re looking for a senior engineer who has deep experience building backend systems and can also contribute to frontend development when needed. You’ll help guide technical decisions, support other engineers, and work closely with teammates across disciplines. Responsibilities Design and build backend services that are secure, scalable, and easy to maintain, using technologies like Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and MongoDB. Contribute to frontend development using ReactJS and TypeScript, especially when backend changes affect the user interface. Translate product requirements into technical plans that are realistic, efficient, and easy to explain to others. Help define and improve how we structure our systems, services, and data flows. Review code from teammates, offer constructive feedback, and help others grow their skills. Work with QA, product, and design to make sure features are well-tested, clearly scoped, and delivered smoothly. Improve how we test, deploy, and monitor our applications, and help identify areas where we can work more effectively. Collaborate on integrating AI models into backend services for tasks like classification, recommendation, or summarization. Work with data scientists or ML engineers to deploy and maintain AI pipelines. We value engineers who think ahead, ask good questions, and help the team stay focused on what matters most. Required Skills & Experience 4-5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems and architecture. Deep knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and RESTful API design. Experience with frontend development using ReactJS and related technologies such as JavaScript and TypeScript. Familiarity with Git workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD tools. Experience working with Gradle and managing multi-module projects. Experience integrating AI services or models into backend systems. We value engineers who are clear in their thinking, steady in their approach, and generous with their time and knowledge. Desired Skills & Experience Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS. Understanding of system design patterns and performance optimization. Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical efforts. Familiarity with ML model deployment tools. Exposure to AI use cases.
