We’re looking for a software engineer who has solid experience in backend development and is comfortable working across the stack. You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining backend services, building APIs, and contributing to frontend development when needed. This role is suited for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, writing clean and scalable code, and collaborating with teammates to deliver features that work well and make sense. We value engineers who take initiative, communicate clearly, and help improve how we build software. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain backend services using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and MongoDB. Develop RESTful APIs and ensure they are secure, scalable, and well-documented. Contribute to frontend development using ReactJS and TypeScript when needed. Translate product requirements into technical solutions that are efficient and maintainable. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and agile ceremonies. Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure features are well-tested and reliable. Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Integrate AI capabilities into backend workflows using AWS services. Work with data and ML teams to deploy models and monitor performance. Help improve system observability, performance, and reliability. Share knowledge with teammates and contribute to documentation and internal tooling. Required Skills & Experience 2–5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems. Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and MongoDB. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with frontend technologies like ReactJS, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS. Experience with Git workflows and automated testing tools. Exposure to AWS AI services and basic integration of AI features into backend systems. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others. Desired Skills & Experience Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure. Familiarity with AWS AI/ML lifecycle tools. Understanding of system design patterns and performance optimization. Interest in applying AI to backend systems for tasks like classification, recommendation, or summarization.
