The Back-End Software Engineer is an expert in designing, implementing and testing the Back-End software solutions for Ground Segment systems oriented to cloud native applications. The Back-End software engineer shall have hands-on experience (at least 3 years working experience) designing and coding enterprise applications using multi-device, multi-platform development based on Microservices architectures paradigm. Candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and should be familiar with Agile SCRUM methodology. Activities/Responsibilities To design, develop and test at unit level the software solutions on ever-changing modern technology in public/hybrid cloud environments To adopt DevSecOps process To contribute to the technical project documentation (such as Requirements Documents, Operations Concept Document, Operations Engineering Plan, User and Administration Manual, Test Procedures, etc.) To assist in project reviews if/when required Competencies Software Design Principles Proven Experience in Microservices applications design Proven Knowledge of Programming Languages: Java, Python Proven knowledge of Back-End-end techniques: SpringBoot, API Gateway, Message Queue (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc) Basic Knowledge of Front-end techniques (Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Flask, Liferay) and integration principles with Back-End side is appreciated Knowledge of design and deployment of DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines is appreciated Knowledge of security coding standards (OWASP, CWE/SANS) Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and CaaS concept Knowledge of Container Orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc) knowledge of Linux scripting Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace and Information Engineering (3 or 5 years) High-level written and verbal English communication skills Knowledge of Quality standards metrics for software coding Further Skills: Proven knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and not relational database and analytics (MongoDB, Elastic) Proven Knowledge about configuration management domain (GIT, GITLAB, etc) Proven Knowledge of software security mechanisms (encryption, signature) Experience in Multiple technology stacks application development Experience writing for Applications automation in Cloud Experience with Cloud environments What We Offer: A stimulating and dynamic working environment with flexible working hours Hybrid working (onsite and off-site) Comprehensive health insurance Meal voucher, company canteen and employee welfare programs  Free access to online learning platform with courses from top universities Opportunities for international experiences Why Telespazio : At Telespazio, the well-being, safety, and development of our people are at the heart of our corporate culture.
