We are currently looking for a German speaking Senior Project Manager – Professional Services (m/w/d) to support our team in Frankfurt. About the Role: The successful candidate will be taking on a portfolio of challenging but rewarding professional services projects for our Balance Sheet Management clients in Europe.  This involves being at the intersection of two teams: an established consultancy of subject matter experts who have over a decade of experience of delivering product implementations, upgrades, and consulting support to banks and other clients; and the relatively newly formed Project Management Office which applies standards and governance to all of FIS’s professional services projects.  This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced senior project manager to be a key contributor to enterprise scaling of a very successful line of business. About the Team: FIS’s Project Management Office is part of our Client Office Center of Excellence and is taking responsibility for the delivery of all professional services across FIS.  Formed three years ago, it has grown to over 250 project managers spread across all timezones and tackling all sizes of project in the enterprise.  Within the Treasury & Risk portfolio we have a growing team of PMs working with Balance Sheet Management projects for Banking Risk. What you will be doing: Manage a portfolio of projects, including budgeting, tracking, administration, and leading diverse teams. Influence clients and stakeholders through clear, confident project status presentations and governance. Ensure quality standards and accountability; apply change control for scope or timeline deviations. Use tools like Planview and Monday.com for planning, risk analysis, resource forecasting, and reporting. Confidently lead meetings, video conferences, and occasional onsite client visits. Drive process improvements by leveraging your network across FIS. What you bring: 5–10 years’ experience delivering professional service projects for large organizations. Strong knowledge of project management standards and IT methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.). Familiarity with financial services or ability to adapt from other industries. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, conflict management, and time management skills. Resilience, discretion, and persistence to manage long-term projects with setbacks. Business-level fluency in German and English for leading complex stakeholder meetings.
