About the team : This role is a part of our Technology Support Team. Involves in implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with the business. What you will be doing: Working in IBM I System administration day-to-day activities like User Management, Work Management, Job Scheduler Management, Backup Management, Device Management, Proactive System Monitoring, Patch Management, and Security management in the area of both IBM i OS & any application that runs on IBM i. Working  in OS/400 Installation/upgrades, OS/400 PTF Management, TCP/IP and other protocol implementation (SSH, sFTP, FTPs, DDM), HMC operations, VIOS, and LPAR management. Working experience with SQL, QUERY/400 and understanding of Control Language. Working with Backup utilities/tools like BRMS, EMC Data Domain & VTL. Working with DB2 replication for IBM i and any of HA Solutions like - QEDD, MIMIX & ITERA. Implementation of any HA solution is an advantage including SAN-level replication. What you will bring : 6 to 12 Years of working experience in IBM I System administration day-to-day activities like User Management, Work Management, Job Scheduler Management, Backup Management, Device Management, Proactive System Monitoring, Patch Management, and Security management in the area of both IBM i OS & any application that runs on IBM i. Working experience in OS/400 Installation/upgrades, OS/400 PTF Management, TCP/IP and other protocol implementation (SSH, sFTP, FTPs, DDM), HMC operations, VIOS, and LPAR management. Working experience with SQL, QUERY/400 and understanding of Control Language. Good working experience with Backup utilities/tools like BRMS, EMC Data Domain & VTL. Should have knowledge in building backup strategy using both BRMS & Native method. Good understanding of full system recovery using BRMS/Native methods. Should have working experience with ISV tools i.e. HelpSystems tools suite, MFT. Should have working experience in working with DB2 replication for IBM i and any of HA Solutions like - QEDD, MIMIX & ITERA. Implementation of any HA solution is an advantage including SAN-level replication. Should have working experience in IBM i middleware technologies like WebSphere/WebSphere MQ implementation and administration. Should have working experience in IBM i WebSphere Application Server implementation and administration Good working experience with Power hardware.
