We are hiring experienced and Trainee Bus Drivers in Thurmaston, Coalville, and Hinckley! As a Bus Driver with Arriva, you will be at the heart of your community! Competitive Pay Rates Trainees: Thurmaston: £12.21 - £13.74 per hour (going up to £15.55 after 12 months + enhancements after 6pm and weekends) Coalville / Hinckley: £12.21 - £13.62 per hour (going up to £14.35 after 12 months + enhancements after 6pm and weekends) Experienced PCV: Thurmaston: £15.55 - £17.55 per hour + enhancement after 6pm Coalville / Hinckley: £14.35 - £15.00 per hour +enhancement after 6pm Perks: Extra shifts available Ongoing CPC training and paid PCV training if you’re a Trainee Opportunities to progress into management or Driver Training Top drivers can earn a £50 voucher through the Mydrive app Free bus travel for you and household family members Work Hours: Rotating shifts, 5 out of 7 days, scheduled in advance 1 in 3 weekends off, with a long weekend every six weeks Overtime available on request Requirements: Experienced Drivers: Hold a valid PCV license Trainees: No license needed—we provide all training! Have at least 6 months driving experience with no more than 6 points on your licence Pass a drug/alcohol test, flexible for shifts, and customer service oriented.
