We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Life Sciences team in Barcelona. You’ll play a key role, as part of a cross-functional team, developing and delivering Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence . About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 2+ years’ industry experience in front-end software development. 2+ years of experience with Angular framework for frontend applications. Experience with Angular Material 2+ Years of experience of Version Control tools (preferably Git) Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Science, IT or related technical field or equivalent relevant experience It would be great if you also had . . . Experience of working within an Agile delivery environment. Experience running services in docker Experience using Jenkins Knowledge about AWS cloud infrastructure What will you be doing in this role? Develop and maintain the Angular frontend of our applications, fully integrated with a microservices architecture built by the same team. Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code. Follow and help define best practices and coding standards in your area of expertise. Support and improve existing systems by diagnosing issues and fixing bugs. Collaborate closely with QA, UX, DevOps, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Project Management. About the Team  You will be part of a team of 6 Talented Software and QA engineers, working in close collaboration with a Solution Analyst, UX Designer, and Product Owner. As part of our Agile processes, you’ll play an active role in developing and delivering Cortellis Drug Discovery. Cortellis is a leading intelligence platform that provides high-quality, curated insights on drugs, targets, and bioactivity data — helping R&D teams accelerate early-stage research, identify new opportunities, and reduce risk in decision-making. Hours of Work This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Barcelona office (just a short walk from the Sagrada Familia), with a hybrid working model.
