Role Profile: This is a key role in the Data Trust Platform team ensuring the requirements to the Data Trust programme are fully understood and fashioned into innovative, sustainable, and effective solutions to meet the objectives of the function.  It requires continuous and detailed analysis and confirmation of the needs of stakeholders and the technical ability to deliver solutions end to end on citizen developed solutions for business workflow and reporting needs.  The role has a real opportunity to create technology and wider solutions that have a meaningful impact on the LSEG’s management of it data solutions. Job Overview: As a Business Analyst within the Data Trust Platform Team based in India, you will collaborate closely with a range of internal and external teams to capture requirements, design, and build workflow and reporting solutions.  The role requires that you are effective and documenting detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in a range of techniques as well as having the technical and problem-solving skills to design and implement solutions on a variety of workflow and reporting tools.  Your focus will be on delivering genuine value through robust, scalable, and sustainable solutions that leverage AI and automations as much as possible and appropriate.  The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in business analysis within the financial services sector and a range of productivity and reporting tools along with a good understanding of Data Governance practices. Key Responsibilities: 1.           Requirements Capture : Collaborate across the Data Trust team to gather and analyse requirements for data governance and metadata initiatives, processes, and reporting. Manage the backlog of assigned items to ensure comprehensive documentation of requirements with a close attention to how they impact or are influenced by other initiatives and solutions. Ensure that user story/feature requests are defined to a level of completeness, clarity, and alignment with organizational goals – and communicate and confirm these requirements. Prioritize demands based on strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and business impact. 2.           Solution Design and Prototyping : As necessary produce solution design artefacts to describe the approach and detailed features of the solution – this would include support to Solution Architecture Design documentation. Using a technical understanding and skills with FIGMA, PowerApps, PowerBI or similar tools build rapid prototypes of solutions to aid in the confirmation and initial trials of the solutions. 3.           Workflow and Reporting Solution Delivery : Capture feedback through active engagement and communication and create a roadmap of product enhancements to improve and satisfy stakeholder needs. Utilize project management tools, including Jira, to monitor and report on the status of delivery model improvement initiatives. 4.           Stakeholder Collaboration : Foster strong relationships across the Data with the Data Governance execution team, data owners, and stewards to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Collaborate with the technical teams to ensure the effective implementation of data governance processes. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status. Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring a common understanding of project objectives and requirements. Core Skills: Requirement gathering and analysis  Process modelling and improvement  Data Analysis, data modelling, and reporting  Stakeholder management  Solution design and documentation  Project coordination  Continuous improvement and innovation  Data Governance awareness Knowledge of handling complex data and complex systems Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills Adaptability Organisational skills and time management Problem solving skills Thorough understanding of project management techniques Qualifications: •            Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. •            5-7 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services sector. •            Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements. •            Proficiency in project management / SDLC tools, such as Jira; workflow and reporting tooling such as PowerApps and PowerBI; and it would be an advantage to have an understanding in data governance tools such as Collibra, Solidatus, MS Purview, or similar. •            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. •            Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable project plans.
