We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Web of Science Research Intelligence team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on modern Angular, Java, Microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS cloud infrastructure. If you love building scalable solutions with a strong emphasis on code quality, testing, and leveraging AI tools for enhanced productivity, we'd love to hear from you. About You – Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering Minimum 1 year exp in Java, Angular, Microservices. Hands-on experience with Jenkins, automated build and deployment workflows Ability to debug complex issues, analyze requirements, and provide efficient solutions. Familiarity with AWS services, cloud deployment, and infrastructure basics It Would Be Great If You Also Had Experience with Spring Boot and REST API development Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with version control systems (GitHub) and code review practices Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools Knowledge of API design, REST conventions, and API security What You'll Be Doing in This Role Design and Develop full-stack solutions combining Angular frontend with Java microservices backend, following best practices and architectural standards. Leverage AWS Services for cloud deployments, scaling, monitoring, and maintaining infrastructure-as-code best practices. Sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Build Microservices that are scalable, maintainable, and fault-tolerant, communicating effectively with other services. Use AI Tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, improve code quality, and increase productivity. Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, QA, Product Management, and other teams to deliver integrated solutions About the Team The Web of Science Research Intelligence platform is a core product at Clarivate, providing powerful research analytics and insights to millions of global researchers and institutions. The team comprises talented engineers, product managers, and QA specialists distributed across multiple locations, working collaboratively on a mission-critical platform with high visibility and reliability requirements.
