Within the GCAP Joint Venture, in the Financial Operations team, we are looking for a Senior Finance Manager for GCAP HQ in Reading (UK). The person we identify will be responsible for: Manage all financial accounting processes, including month-end close, consolidation, and reporting activities; Own key controls over the financial reporting cycle such as reviewing journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations; Prepare and/or review statutory accounts for the relevant legal entities within their remit, and ensure consistency in the application of accounting standards and financial processes across all jurisdictions; Review and/or produce papers documenting significant accounting judgements. Review and/or prepare the journal entries for the one-time transactions and those supporting materials when required; Act as primary day-to-day point of contact for the rest of the Finance function and for statutory auditors as technical accounting subject matter expert; Manages consolidation processes across entities and intercompany accounting. Hard skills: Significant experience and knowledge of operational Finance processes, best practice, and performance at scale; Sufficient technical knowledge of IFRS, FRC guidance, as well as statutory requirements applicable to the companies in UK, Italy and Japan;  Previous experience within accounting or audit practice. All’interno della joint venture GCAP, nell’area Financial Operations, stiamo cercando un/una Senior Finance Manager da inserire nell’HQ a Reading (UK). La persona si occuperà delle seguenti attività: Gestire tutti i processi contabili finanziari, inclusi la chiusura di fine mese, la consolidazione e le attività di reporting; Assumere il controllo delle principali attività del ciclo di rendicontazione finanziaria, come la revisione delle scritture contabili e le riconciliazioni del bilancio; Preparare e/o revisionare i bilanci statutari delle entità legali di competenza, assicurando coerenza nell’applicazione degli standard contabili e dei processi finanziari in tutte le giurisdizioni; Revisionare e/o produrre documentazione che illustri giudizi contabili significativi. Revisionare e/o preparare le scritture contabili per operazioni una tantum e i relativi materiali di supporto, quando richiesto; Agire come punto di contatto primario quotidiano per il resto della funzione Finanza e per i revisori legali come esperto tecnico di materia contabile; Gestire i processi di consolidamento tra entità e la contabilità intercompany. Seniority: Senior. Competenze tecniche: Significativa esperienza e conoscenza dei processi operativi finanziari, delle best practice e della gestione delle performance su larga scala; Conoscenza tecnica sufficiente degli IFRS, delle linee guida FRC, nonché dei requisiti statutari applicabili alle società in UK, Italia e Giappone; Precedente esperienza in ambito contabile o in studi di revisione. Competenze comportamentali: Eccellenti capacità comunicative; Collaborazione; Abilità nel costruire relazioni; Capacità di interagire con un’ampia gamma di stakeholder interni ed esterni di ogni livello gerarchico, comprendendo le loro esigenze chiave.
