We are looking for a   Technical   Manager   to   lead   our   DevOps Team   in   Barcelona . T hi s is an amazing opportunity to work on   AWS, CI/CD   Automation ,   AI   and D at a Engineering . The team consists of   5   and is reporting to the   Direct or ,   DevOps . We have a great skill set in   Terraform, AWS, CI/CD ,   automation-at-scale , Python ,   and   we are   upskilling at   a   fast pace with   Databricks / Glue   and   AI development practices   and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in   driving technical decisions , innovation ,   operational excellence   and managing distributed teams across the globe .   About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering. At least 7 years of professional experience , with 3 + years in a management or technical lead role . Abi lit y to   i mplemen t DevOps practices with large-scale deployments and automated CI/CD pipelines.   Experience in   i ntegrat ing   security and   optimize   cloud costs   into automation workflow s. Proficient in containers   &   orchestration platforms   with experience in maintaining microservices-based architectures.   Skilled in programming (preferably Python) with the capability to conduct thorough code reviews.   Tech stack: AWS, Jenkins, GitHub Workflows, Terraform, Python, ECS/EKS / Kubernetes It would be great if you also have . . .   Experience with multi-region team management and remote collaboration. Exposure to cloud-native architectures and infrastructure as code best practices . Experience   on   AI Development   (LLM,   RAG,   Model   Adaptation   and Infere n ce-time   te c hniques ) and modern   Data Engineering   practices   (large   processing of   transitional   and analytical data) .   What will you be doing in this role? Lead and manage a team of 5 DevOps engineers based in Spain and India.   Drive technical decisions and strategy for   AWS ,   CI/CD , automation, and infrastructure.   Perform   code reviews   and ensure operational excellence.   Support   p roduction observability   and   monitorin g ,   to   maintain   high availability and reliability   upon specific SLAs.   Support   vulnerability management and remediation.   Support   new   engineering   development   in   AI and Data   serving   the   Life S cience s   business of Clarivate.   Collaborate ,   influence   and   support   e ng ineering   managers and stakeholders   in the software delivery process.   About the Team Our DevOps team consists of 5 highly skilled engineers with expertise in AWS, Jenkins CI/CD, GitHub, Python, Terraform, and automation. The team works closely with development teams across Spain and India to enable smooth releases and maintain robust infrastructure. Internal stakeholders include development managers and product teams; external stakeholders may include cloud service providers. Hours of Work This is a full-time, permanent position , primarily working core business hours in CET , with flexibility to collaborate with teams as needed. The position is hybrid, working in the office 2- 3 days a week.
