We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with 1 – 3 years of professional experience in mainframe with some knowledge of RDBMS databases. This position offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills while working on a mix of modern and legacy systems. As part of our team, you'll contribute to the database archive on mainframe in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Skills Relational Database concepts TSO ISPF JCL – creation of all items (JCL, Procedures, Sysins) SDSF – Job output display IBM Optim Data Archival tool – desired REXX – desired Endevor - desired Key Responsibilities: Works in a team using agile methodologies, participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives to ensure effective collaboration and continuous improvement. Exposure to mainframe systems, legacy codebases, or other specialized technologies. Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing Serves as an integral member of a data archival team under the management of a Team Lead. Candidate should have very good communication skills and presentation skills. Collaborate across teams including subject matter experts to deliver high-quality products. Possess up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry Stay up-to-date on current database trends and practices. Ability to learn fast and execute accordingly. Understanding of mainframe concepts Candidate should be Highly Motivated and a Self-Starter at work. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior engineers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems is a plus Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
