You can read more about the history of mySugr & Roche here . Here's what we're looking for: Part-time (20-30hrs) We are looking for a trusted Controller to support our Finance Manager. In your role you will support our Finance Manager in all aspects of the financial cost planning and actual reporting events. You ensure accuracy of the financial data in the respective systems to enable data driven decision making. Global projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness for certain financial activities also belong also to your responsibility. In addition you ensure financial compliance by executing controls where risks occur. Your upcoming mission: Perform regular reviews of accounting entries to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with group & local standards. Perform specific steps of the local and global closing / reporting processes Identify recurring errors, conduct root-cause analysis, and provide targeted training or feedback to the support team to minimize future discrepancies. Understand system setup and identify areas for improvement in our accounting, controlling and reporting processes.  Deep dive into our recharging process and ensure a proper setup in our systems Support the transition from legacy systems to the new SAP ASPIRE environment. Participate in User Acceptance Testing and ensure that accounting logic is correctly mapped in the new system. Support the financial submission and documentation process for grants, ensuring all provided documents meet the outlined requirements. Support the bi- annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Act as the first point of contact for local and global requests.   Essential skills for your mission: Bachelor/Masters in a Business Administration or Finance related field Minimum 3 years of work experience as a financial controller, accountant, financial auditor or finance business partner You have experience in financial reporting activities (management reporting & statutory) and a good understanding of financial accounting MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint,Word) & GSuite (gSheets, gSlides, gmail) Great written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a bonus) You are either an EU citizen or hold a valid Austrian work permit   Bonus skills: You bring strong strategic focus and you strive to make a measurable impact You are able to break down a problem into its key components, identify milestones / dependencies and drive a team to achieve outcomes in line with the timeline / budget / scope agreed You bring the ability to interact at senior level and manage key stakeholders at all levels in the organization SAP ERP FI/CO module knowledge   What to expect: Ambitious and passionate people building meaningful products for a global audience An innovative agile working environment allowing for collaboration with really smart people and knowledge sharing in cross-functional teams  An amazing office with a rooftop terrace, fully stocked kitchen and amazing barista coffee machines in the middle of Vienna… oh, and did we mention the best team in the world!
