The Position 2026 Summer Intern - Pharma Services   We advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love. Department Summary Personalized Healthcare Solutions (PHCS) is central to Roche’s approach and has played a key role in our advancements across the patient journey. PHCS partners with Pharmaceutical companies to develop customized assays/solutions for value-based, outcome-driven therapeutic strategies. The best oncology drugs in the world are most effective only when we link them to the right patients, at the right time. For over a decade, Roche has been at the forefront of personalized healthcare, working to support the medical field as it trends toward patient centricity. This internship position is located in Tucson, Arizona, on-site. The Opportunity You will be involved in digital image workflow automation and process improvement activities You will use brightfield microscopes and scanners to generate and analyze images from the stained slides You will organize, access, and digitally analyze the stained images in the image viewing platform During the internship you will have the opportunity to participate in internship networking activities such as: workshops with leaders in the organization, our mentor program, and our Poster Symposium among other activities Program Highlights Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship. Program start dates are in June (Summer) A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.  Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects. Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry. Who You Are   Required Education:   - Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).   Required Majors: Engineering or a biomedical background with technical focus Required Skills:  Experience in data analysis or scripting in Python, MATLAB, or other programming language Experience in working with and debugging mechanical systems   Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Complements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.   ​ Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.    The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of  Arizona is $45.00 hour.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
