Job Description We are seeking a strategic, influential Senior HR Business Partner to support our Supply Chain organisation across six Sub Sahara African countries (Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, ESwatini, Namibia and South Africa). This role partners closely with global, regional, and local leaders to shape people strategies that drive high performance, capability development, cultural alignment, and organisational effectiveness. You will play a critical role in guiding leaders through transformation, driving core HR processes, and building a future‑ready workforce within a highly operational and fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities May Include: Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to implement people and organizational solutions that drive business performance and employee engagement. Serve as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related queries, collaborating with the HR Operations team for seamless service delivery. Build and maintain relationships with leaders, providing coaching and influencing on key people-related matters to enhance team performance and development. Support leaders in the development of their teams, focusing on capability enhancement, engagement, and succession planning. Oversee the employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition through to retirement, ensuring adherence to processes and procedures in collaboration with the broader HR team. Provide guidance on organizational design and workforce planning, supporting talent management, succession planning, and workforce modelling efforts. Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting investigations and ensuring a fair and compliant resolution process What's Expected of You? Partner with senior leaders across Supply Chain, Engineering, HSE, Quality, and Operational Excellence to design and implement people and organizational solutions. Lead core HR cycles including Talent Management Review, succession planning, Annual Salary Review, performance management, and engagement surveys. Drive organisational design, workforce planning, and change management across multiple countries. Leverage workforce analytics to influence decision making and capability planning. Strengthen leadership capability through coaching, development planning, and engagement initiatives. Support talent acquisition, employee experience, and end‑to‑end HR lifecycle processes. Partner on ER matters including collective bargaining, CCMA, union engagements, and compliance. Support delivery of EE and BBBEE plans, global HR governance, and local regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and development to HR Generalists to ensure high‑quality and pro-active HR support. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (NQF7); postgraduate qualification advantageous. 10+ years’ experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in unionised or operational environments. Strong influencing and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience partnering at senior levels in matrix organisations. Demonstrated experience supporting multi‑country HR operations and working in a matrix organisation. Strong analytical capability with a track record of data‑driven decision making and balanced strengths in Judgement, Decision and Influence (JDI) Deep knowledge of HR programmes, ER, rewards, compliance, organisational design, and talent management. Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and relationship‑building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, operational environment. Why Apply?
