Job Description: The SAP BI/BO Expert is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and optimization of enterprise reporting solutions using SAP BusinessObjects and related analytics tools. This role includes managing the end-to-end lifecycle of BI development — from requirement gathering and semantic layer modeling to dashboard/report creation and user enablement. The candidate must be well-versed in SAP BO components (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Dashboards, IDT/UDT) and their integration with SAP BW, ECC, and S/4HANA. This position involves working closely with business stakeholders to transform reporting requirements into functional BI assets, ensuring high performance, data accuracy, and usability. The manager will also lead BI teams, enforce governance, and support long-term analytics strategy. Key Responsibilities: • Lead BI/BO project delivery including architecture, development, and deployment • Gather business requirements and translate them into report and dashboard specifications • Develop and maintain universes (IDT/UDT) and reporting metadata models • Create and optimize reports using Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Dashboards • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance in all BI outputs • Integrate BI tools with SAP BW, ECC, and HANA-based systems • Implement scheduling, bursting, and automated report delivery via BI Launchpad • Manage role-based access and ensure compliance with security policies • Support version upgrades, patches, and platform optimization • Provide training and documentation to business users and technical teams Required Qualifications & Skills Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field • SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BusinessObjects preferred • Certification in SAP BW or SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred Experience • 5–12 years of experience in SAP BI/BO development and delivery • At least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role • Proven experience in large-scale SAP reporting environments • Strong background in integrating BO with BW, ECC, and HANA sources • Experience in performance tuning and dashboard optimization At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
