Job Description: Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Cloudera Expert Developer to join our Analytics Offering. DXC Analytics is focused on providing customers innovative solutions and high added value, in the following areas: Analytics Solutions and Services, Big Data Platforms, Information Governance, Business Intelligence & Data Management, Artificial Intelligence and IoT Analytics. Key Responsibilities The ideal candidate will develop and maintain advanced data pipelines and solutions on the Cloudera/Hadoop stack, ensuring seamless integration and automation across environments through CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with architects, data engineers, and DevOps teams to build reliable, scalable, and efficient data processing systems that empower analytics and data-driven decision-making. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within the Cloudera ecosystem. Contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards, development practices, and deployment automation. Qualifications Strong experience in Spark (Scala or PySpark) and Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, HDFS, Impala, Oozie, Kafka, etc.). Solid hands-on experience with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) or similar Big Data platforms. Proficiency with GitHub and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar). Familiarity with Linux-based environments and scripting (Bash, Python). Experience in building scalable, distributed data processing systems. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Nice to Have Experience with cloud integration (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for hybrid Cloudera deployments. Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to data governance and security frameworks (Apache Ranger, Atlas). Understanding of data quality, lineage, and metadata management. Cloudera or Spark-related certifications.
