As a Project Architect, you’ll lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that will help our customers’ transformation journey. This technical position also requires a high-level understanding of the business needs and their strategy alignment with IT. The  responsibilities  for this position are to: Provide strategic influence across groups, projects, and products to implement cost-effective technology solutions and solve complex business problems. Engage in concept discussions and propose technology solutions to meet business objectives. Engage with senior leadership and project stakeholders to articulate opportunities, costs, and risks associated with decisions made around the platform architecture and implementation. Support the development of enterprise architecture strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Design and define architectural solutions and oversee the implementations. Participate in the development and continuous improvement of application and data architectures in the Cloud that are aligned to the business strategies and direction, technology architectures that enable the application and data architecture and development architectures that enable IT to develop business solutions most efficiently and effectively, adhering to the IT Solution Design Principles. IT Governance: ensure that agreed standards and working practices are followed, highlight any non-conformance with agreed standards and working practices with the head of architecture, and promote an environment that encourages collaboration, team working, and innovation both within the Architecture Team and across IT and other teams This role will require: Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience At least 5-years’ experience in Solution or Enterprise Architecture. A proven track record of working as an Architect delivering successful transformation /migration projects. Demonstrate extensive experience in the IT industry with expertise in areas like cloud technologies. A broad understanding of the latest developments in technologies, industry-specific issues, competitor and vendor activity and initiatives. Experience in Cloud design, strategy, and architecture-related activities. Demonstrated ability in technology partner management practices including the ability to lead vendors/partners in defining architectures. To be able to communicate with fluency with all levels of staff in English (Spanish is a plus) At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
