Job Details T his role is responsible for working closely with other team members to understand the functional and performance requirements and define, deploy, and improve testing environments at each stage of software development life cycle. Engineers I work on smaller, moderately complex testing tasks within one development environment, requiring a single area of testing technology competency. They assist in translating the functional requirements into designing testing environments, making test plans, and monitoring quality KPIs. They also troubleshoot low complexity software quality issues and ensure testing is done as per plan. They interface with the Engineering, Implementation and Service teams to influence the testability of products, research and implement test methodologies, implement, and refine test cases and test decks. Responsibilities: Working within projects right from inception helping to identify testing needs/requirements and building out the test plans. Leverage the QA & Test strategy and drive good QA practice within projects. Responsible for the creation of testing artifacts including but not limited to test scenarios, test cases, test conditions, test closure, defect reports. Test the software according to Test plan and agreed timelines. Thorough understanding of Requirement Traceability Matrix and responsible for mapping of test cases to business requirements and functional designs. Report on the status of QA to Project stakeholders. Escalate QA and test issues to line manager/stakeholders. Work collaboratively and efficiently within a cross-functional team environment. . Requirements: 3-5 years of professional QA & Test experience. ISTQB certified (Foundation level). Good understanding and Hands on experience of Software Development Lifecycle process and Testing techniques. Experience working in large projects, cross functional and in a dynamic environment. Excellent knowledge of various test techniques and concepts. Exposure on Non-functional testing (Automation/Performance) desirable. Ability to manage and execute complex test scenarios. Good knowledge and exposure to test management tools such as ALM Octane, Microsoft Devops, Jira. Advanced knowledge on Confluence, Microsoft office 365 tools. Experience working in an Agile or fast paced environment. Report on the status of QA to Project stakeholders. Team player, self- driven, proactive, solution focused with an ability to work independently and help peers when needed. Excellent Verbal and written communication skills, Stakeholders skills. Excellent Analytical, conceptual, judgmental skills. Strong aptitude for learning new tools & technologies. Flexible to work outside business hours if needed to meet the business demands and delivery timescales. Plan to timelines – Risk management skills essential. Pharmaceuticals wholesaling or Healthcare domain knowledge desirable. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
