Job Details We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our Data Science team under the guidance of the Director of Analytics & Decision Science. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects, work across departments to deliver analytics solutions, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. As an experienced team member, you’ll develop and execute on data science strategies and roadmaps and play a critical role in shaping how we use data and AI to drive success. This is a dynamic role with opportunities for professional growth, including advanced analytics, project management, and leadership development. Responsibilities: Lead Data Science Projects: Manage and deliver small to medium-scale Data Science and AI projects, from planning to execution, ensuring deliverables meet business needs. Provide Data Expertise: Act as the go-to expert on internal data resources, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, project managers, and business teams to define requirements and implement advanced analytics solutions. Deliver Data Analysis & Insights: Utilize tools like Python, Power Automate, AI, Power BI and SQL to create solutions Drive Process Improvement: Develop standardized protocols for data extraction, management, and quality assurance. Provide Strategic Input: Contribute to the development of data management standards, prototypes, and reporting models to drive organizational goals. Deliver Presentations & Communication: Prepare compelling presentations and reports to share insights with management and key stakeholders. Keep Abreast of Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and developments in healthcare and logistics Work Experience: Strong expertise in Python Strong expertise in relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) Experience with data management, reporting, and delivering actionable insights Knowledge of tools like Databricks, Alteryx Designer and Power Automate is a plus Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring team members or leading small projects Skills and Knowledge: Intellectual curiosity and a self-starter mindset Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams Education: Minimum 2+ years of experience in data science, ideally within logistics or a related field Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science) #LI- Hybrid Salary Range for Lithuania: €2,566- €3,664 gross per month What Cencora offers We offer a competitive annual bonus, life insurance from Day 1, a best-in-class health insurance package, and up to 6 fully paid benefit days a year.
