Responsibilities: To coordinate the cooperation between his area of work with all other areas of the Company in such a manner that the flow of information is always free of friction, unimpeded, and a holistically positive coordination is assured To accept jobs by telephone/email/fax/internet To calculate transit-times To raise jobs on TMS and edit these if need arises Selecting routings by deciding on a single or combination of transportation-types (airplane, car, train, Aerolink) To check collected shipments in the office and prepare them for transport To book and pre-advise shipments To monitor shipments during the transport and react flexibly to any deviation from the plan To complete jobs (enter extra charges, pricing) To use and maintain the available technical tools (TMS, OpStar, OMNI, Jetstream) To partake in being 'on-call' regularly Communicating with national and international World Courier stations/ Aerolink/ agents To build and maintain relationships to contractors/transporters (airlines, handling agents, the Rail, customs, government agencies, veterinarians, suppliers, etc) To advise customers with all the necessary information Preparation and execution of written offers To edit and maintain jobs (Exports /Imports) in TMS. To check the planned departure or arrival times of flights (“Post Flight Check”) To recognize important information and make immediate use of this information (All Stations Emails, Holiday Lists, Ops-Memos, C/H Memos). To prepare and dispose of packaging materials and cooling-media To prepare and/or to procure all necessary documentation (HWB, MAWB, import or export permit, export customs paperwork, live animal certificate, dangerous goods declaration, etc) . Skills and Ability: English language - advanced level Clear written and verbal communication Negotiation with carriers, suppliers, brokers Customer-oriented mindset Basics of customs procedures and documentation Supply chain coordination and planning Attention to detail Time management and multitasking Problem-solving and decision-making Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint What Cencora offers Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
