About This Role                                                                                                           Role And Responsibilities In this role, the  Simulator Flight Instructor  will be responsible for the delivery of training primarily in a flight simulator or other training device, but also when required in ground school, in accordance with the appropriate regulatory and customer requirements. Instructor maintains the qualification set in Aviation Safety Act and supports the DOT and performs the given simulator training. Carry out Simulator training specified in Training Specifications for the applicants for initial type rating except for final checks and airline captains and FOs. Judge whether the knowledge and manipulate skills of trainee met the training objectives and standards of each subject while carrying out the training of each subject. . FSI should pay close attention in judging whether to meet the objectives of training subject after completion of the training For unsatisfactory items, FSI needs to secure the basis data essentially and it is not allowed to change the judgment necessary for additional training. Except for briefing and debriefing, it is not allowed for FSI to work for more than 8 hours for consecutive 24 hours and 6 days or 40 hours for consecutive 7 days for customer training. If not possible to comply with this rule, the Director of Training (DOT)should take actions corresponding to this situation (i.e., recruiting of instructor, securing additional evaluators). When carrying out the Simulator Flight Training of two sessions in 24 hours, ensure sufficient break time of at least 10 hours between sessions is observed. FSI shall not provide nor receive any training prior to a simulator session to be delivered to Asiana Airlines personnel in that same scheduling day. If unable to comply due to unforeseen circumstances, FSI can carry out the double sessions after obtaining the approval of DOT and Asiana Airlines. On the first day of a training course (including observer), the FSI should make a briefing about the following matters by reference to the simulator safety briefing data and emergency escape path drawing saved in the CBB regarding the escape procedure from the training center building and emergency escape procedure from the simulator before boarding the simulator and record the results on the training logbook. The responsibility to receive the recurrent training and evaluation annually within eligibility period for the maintenance of instructor qualification shall be borne to each instructor. Eligibility for FSI • Certificate of ATPL and type rating of the aircraft on type. • Has the career of total 1,000 flight hours as a PIC on the Air Transport A/C or 500 flight hours as a PIC on the aircraft on type. • Above level 4 of EPTA. • Has a good command and fluency in the English language to be able to facilitate session briefings and training. • Has previous flying experience working for an international airline. • Must be acceptable to the customer airline. • For Korean instructors, their domicile must be in the Republic of Korea. • Completed the appointment initial training to be an FSI. • Knowledge, skills, and teaching ability required for FSI. • Appointed in writing according to appointment procedure of the Company.  #LI-NY1  Position Type                         On Call (Fixed Term) CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
