Job Details This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business. Location is Belfast, BT3 9JQ. Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team in Belfast. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate assembly and handling of items within our warehouse, adhering to guidelines and maintaining a safe working environment. Location and Salary Location: Belfast, BT3 9JQ Salary: £12.54 per hour Days: Sunday only, 4 hours per week Shift Times: 9:00am - 1:00pm Key Responsibilities Accurately assemble items from pick documentation, ensuring the correct quantity is picked. Handle items with care to avoid damage; report any damages to the line team leader. Report any picking errors or visible issues in the warehouse to the line team leader immediately. Ensure hospital and special check orders are assembled accurately and verified. Follow specific guidelines for picking medical bulk, fridge, and secure area orders, as covered in training. Respond promptly to any errors or unusual quantities during the picking process. Maintain awareness of health and safety procedures at all times. Keep the warehouse area clean, tidy, and free from rubbish. . Education Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required. Work Experience Previous experience in a warehouse environment is highly desirable. Skills and Knowledge Essential: High visual accuracy Good verbal communication skills Basic written communication skills Customer care orientation Desirable: Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
