The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) is responsible for conduction all servicing and maintenance tasks.   In your role, you will:   Inspects, maintains , repairs, and test aircraft systems.   Remove and replace line replaceable units and components.   Specialty work in maintenance shops as required .   Interpret technical publications and diagrams.   Maintain tools and equipment required to perform primary duties.   Order aircraft spare parts and materials.   Conduct flight line servicing operations.   Debrief Team Lead as required .   Carry out workplace inspections and clean ups.   Fill position of Desk Controller   Our ideal candidate has: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma (or equivalence - Canadian Forces AVN Technician)   Possession of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering license M2 or (M1/ M2 combined) Proven experience as a team player.   Good oral and written communication skills in English Ability to work shifts; some travel required .   A valid driver’s license.   Knowledge of aerospace design and maintenance practices.      Ability to obtain a Reliability security clearance from the Government of Canada   Eligibility to work in Canada, either as a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or valid Work Permit.   Must have experience   No less than 4 years of aircraft related experience   Minimum 3 years 1 st and 2 nd line maintenance activities   Experience in life cycle support activities an asset   CAE offers:   Group Insurance Plan Vacation, paid holidays and sick days Overtime pay Retirement Plan Maternity Leave and Global Parental Leave Fun at work: social and community events all-year round!
