Job Details We are seeking a skilled Automation Platform Engineer to design, implement, and optimize automation platforms supporting BPM and RPA solutions in collaboration with Cencora central provisioning teams (cloud, DBA, security, operations and others). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud technologies, scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and database management, with a focus on scalability, security, and compliance. Roles and Responsibilities: Assist in designing and developing platform solutions ensuring scalability and performance. Provide technical guidance for BPM/RPA applications and infrastructure. Manage project timelines and deliverables, aligning technical tasks with business goals. Support infrastructure enhancements to improve robustness and enable RPA deployments. Conduct market research to identify trends and innovations for platform improvement. Platform Optimization and Innovation Optimize platform performance and reliability through continuous assessment and tuning. Explore and integrate new technologies to expand automation capabilities. Develop and implement scalable solutions for evolving business needs. Performance and Continuous Improvement Monitor and analyze platform performance metrics to identify improvements. Proactively plan for platform provisioning to prevent deployment delays. Release Management and Environment Architecture Support release management strategies for timely and efficient deployments. Design and configure testing environments aligned with operational requirements. Security and Compliance Ensure platforms comply with security standards and regulatory requirements. Implement measures to enhance platform security and reduce vulnerabilities. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with automation teams, IT Security, and other stakeholders to align strategies. Ensure technical solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to technical and executive audiences. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Leadership Research industry trends and innovations to enhance platform capabilities. Stay informed about emerging BPM technologies like process mining and intelligent automation. . Work Experience: 3–6 years of experience in infrastructure or related roles Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services Experience with automation on Azure Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes Good scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python Experience working with MariaDB and SQL databases Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps , Jenkins , or similar Understanding of data privacy regulations and regional compliance MUST: Azure knowledge / experience MUST: PowerShell / Python MUST: DevOps CI/CD experience Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field Good-to-Have Skills: Python programming for automation solutions Experience with Automation Platforms such as AA360 (Automation Anywhere) and Appian Strong understanding of BPM concepts and workflows Hands-on knowledge of AA360 and/or Appian products Certifications (Preferred): Preferred certifications: AZ‑104 , AZ‑900 Skills and Knowledge: Behavioral Skills: Critical Thinking Detail Oriented Interpersonal Communication Learning Agility Problem Solving Time Management Technical Skills: IT Regulatory Compliance like SOX Compliance Data Management Data Security IT Infrastructure Management IT Support like Software & Hardware Installation, Troubleshooting Server Management Service Level Maintenance Technical Documentation Tools Knowledge: Citrix technologies like XenDesktop, XenApp, XenServer Cloud Computing Tools like AWS, Azure, Google cloud Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud Database Software like RDBMS, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems like Sage, ASW, SAP Operating Systems & Servers like Windows, Linux, Citrix, IBM, Oracle, SQL Microsoft Office Suite Middleware nodes & servers like Websphere, Jboss Ticket/Complaint Management Systems Virtualization Tools like VMware, vSphere or MS Hyper-V Internet Protocols like DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, Easy DNS, No IP What Cencora offers ​Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
