Job Details Job Title: Porter Location: Exeter, EX2 8QW Hours: 39 hours per week, 11pm-7.30am Sunday PM - Friday AM Rate/Salary: £12.54 per hour, plus shift allowance and benefits below This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business Job Purpose: To accurately sort & distribute orders sent into transport into correct van routes/areas. Responsibilities: · Unloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely. · Reloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely. · Stock replenishment according to data sheet. · Safe transfer of load to despatch bay. · Correctly sorting and distribution of orders. · Correct distribution/storage of trays/bins. · Adherence to checking off procedures. · Maintain standards in accordance with Health & Safety policy. · Damages awareness and procedures. · Understanding productivity. · Importance of security. · Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping. Requirements: High Visual Accuracy Good verbal communication skills Basic written communication skills Basic Numeracy and Literacy Customer care Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are “essential requirements” of this role.
