About This Role                                                                                                           CAE, one of the largest business aviation training facilities, is looking for a Simulator Technician in our newest training center in Las Vegas, Nevada.  In this role you will perform preventative maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems. Essential Job Functions Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.   Assist in diagnosing and correcting routine problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.   Perform pre-flight and post flight tasks on designated simulators.   Perform basic visual alignments.   Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).   Utilize maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.   Complete all designated training activities.   Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.  Learn and comply with CAE quality management system.  Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.   Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validation.  Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required.   Perform all administrative tasks as required.   Education & Experience Requirements 2-year technical degree or equivalent related training 1 year of simulator related experience in (electronics/avionics, automated systems, or computer networking repair and troubleshooting) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints and schematics  Knowledge of analog and digital theory  Basic skills in the operation of test equipment  Basic skills in soldering and circuit board repair  Some knowledge of PCs and MS-Office tools and suite  Motivated in customer support and attention to detail  Location The primary work location for this position is at the Las Vegas Training Facility in Nevada Minimal travel may be required (less than 10%).  Physical Effort: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
