Join Saputo Dairy Australia as av Heavy Diesel Mechanic based out of our workshop in Allansford, VIC. This full-time, Monday - Friday permanent position offering you the opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of milk tanker trucks. How You Will Make a Difference Maintain and repair a fleet of up to 45 heavy and multi-vehicle combination milk tanker trucks. Collaborate with tanker drivers and fleet coordinators. Assist with vehicle breakdowns, diagnose and repair issues, and manage milk flow meters. Ensure the safe transfer of milk back to the depot. About You A minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Trade. Experience in a similar role within the transport industry, particularly with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. A current HC/MC driver’s license (desirable but not essential). Experience with both automatic and manual trucks, especially Volvos, is highly regarded. The ability to work independently, handle pressure, and maintain high standards for the fleet.
