Job Details Job Title: Porter Location: Coatbridge, ML5 Shift Times/Hours: 29 hours per week, Monday & Friday 5.30-11pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5.30-11.30pm. Hourly Rate: £12.54 plus shift allowance and benefits listed below. This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business. We’re seeking flexible Transport Porters to join us at our Service Centre in Coatbridge, who thrive in an exciting environment where the work we do is critical in ensuring the integrity of the medical supply chain. Responsibilities: Must accurately check orders / totes from drop sheets paying special attention to route, according to procedures. All missing orders / totes must be recorded and notified to a Line Manager. Ensure orders / totes are allocated to pallet / route cage. Prioritise orders / totes by route departure time. Loading vehicles as per instructions, ensuring that all bins, boxes, bags are located in the vehicle in a safe manner. Completing any relevant Dropsheet or checklist as the vehicle is loaded. Ensuring the vehicle is secured once loading is complete. Ensuring that all pallets and cages are stored correctly and bins, boxes, bags are stacked in a safe manner. Ensure all Health & Safety regulations are adhered to. Any other tasks required by management.
