Duties include but are not limited to: Inventory cultures and Ingredients. Must be forklift certified. Must be able to lift 60 lb. bags of starter media. Accurate completion of documentation. Pull samples for the lab. Must be able to use a microscope. C.I.P. starter tanks, Brine UF, finesavers, cooker water tank, whey surge tanks, and tank jackets, and accessory equipment. Complete titrations and pre-op on equipment. Transfer cooker water. Assist RMC operators with form changes, and brine room attendants when necessary. Supply ingredients to Cheesemakers. Make primary tanks. Set secondary tanks. Maintain raw materials in the starter area. Assist with production needs. Peel starter bags daily. Must be able to take and pass a Pasteurizer test given by the State Inspector. Will have 3 months from being placed in job to obtain license. Must be able to cross train and master other jobs as assigned. Responsible for food safety and food quality. Must be able to read and write in English. Any other duties as assigned.
