About This Role                                                                                                           The Simulation Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager (or delegate) and is responsible for performing all preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices in a safe and effective manner. The goal is to ensure maximum availability and reliability of training systems to support successful training outcomes for end users.   As a Simulation Technician, you’ll be at the heart of aviation training technology, responsible for maintaining and repairing some of the most advanced flight simulators in the world. These include Level D full flight simulators - devices so realistic they’re certified to replace actual flight hours. You’ll work hands-on with complex systems like electromechanical motion platforms, immersive visual environments, and high-performance computing clusters. When something goes wrong, you’ll be the one to diagnose and fix it, ensuring pilots can train without interruption.  CAE are hiring Simulation Technicians and welcomes applicants from at all experience levels. whether you're just starting out or bring years of experience, CAE welcomes candidates from all technical backgrounds - especially avionics, electronics or IT.   Our training programs are designed to help you become a proficient Simulation Technician.
