Finance Intern LOCATION: Piqua, Ohio                                               BUSINESS UNIT : Crane Pumps & Systems      DEPARTMENT : Finance                                              SEGMENT : Process Flow Technologies                       REPORTS TO: AP/AR Manager                                                                                               BASIC FUNCTION: The Finance Intern will be an active part of our team and will gain exposure to a variety of areas of the accounting function on an everyday basis. This is a Full-time (40 hours per week) position during the summer of 2024 and transitioning to Part-time when school starts (approx. 20 – 24 hours per week) paid internship. The hours for this position are flexible within our normal operating hours of M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Assist with special projects: Help with accounts receivable, payable, and bank statement reconciliation Work with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts Support AR/AP Data entry QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Must currently be enrolled in a Post-Secondary Program level program 3.0 GPA or higher desired. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities at once Must be able to handle sensitive/ confidential information in a professional manner Ability to address situations with good judgment and integrity Excellent task management, prioritization, and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to build strong business relationships Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) Available to work full-time for the summer of 2024 and transition to part time during school days (20 - 24 hours per week) Crane Pumps & Systems will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
